154th Annual Jefferson County Fair Family entertainment, truck and tractor pulls, demo derbies, Teen Battle of the Bands, dog shows, duck races, exhibits, judging and contests, commercial exhibitors, and live music entertainment. Carnival specials each day, judging all week. Teen battle of the bands Wednesday through Friday, with the winners coming back to compete in the finals on Saturday night.

| WEDNESDAY, JULY 12, 2006 | Kids' Day - For kids 12 & under between 10:30am-1pm, admission is $10. The fee includes admission to the fair, lunch and carnival rides from 11:30am-5pm.

Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, has announced the top winners who participated in fall scholarship days Nov. 9 and Nov. 16. Students interested in attending Wartburg College received Presidential and Regents scholarships ranging from $5,000 to full tuition.
