The Council for the Performing Arts Discovery Series:
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe - A World of Enchantment
(Tuesday May 1st at 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM)
C.S. Lewis' classic fairy tale for all ages has been transformed into an delightful musical. "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" tells the story of four unsuspecting children who stumble through a wardrobe into the magical world of Narnia. By the cruel White Witch's orders, Narnia is "always winter and never Christmas," and the children rush to help restore the lion Aslan back to the throne. "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" will be performed exclusively for the Discovery Series. The curriculum connections focus on literature-based communication and language, music-visual arts relationships, and family.
