Fort Atkinson Community Theatre is proud to present Little Women, directed by Doug Reed.

The novel Little Women was an instant success when it was published in 1868, with critics labeling it an American classic. The four March sisters live with their mother, affectionately known as "Marmee," while their father serves as an Army chaplain during the Civil War. Meg, the eldest, is very pretty and somewhat vain about her looks. The second sister is Jo. Jo is a tomboy and aspires to be a writer. She befriends the rich young man who lives next door, Theodore "Laurie" Laurence. Beth is the quiet kind sister, who enjoys playing piano. The youngest sister, Amy, is a talented artist and is slightly spoiled. Rounding out the characters are Hannah, the March family maid, Mr. Laurence, grandfather to Laurie, John Brooke, Laurie's tutor and Aunt Cecilia March, the rich widow who disapproves of her nephew's charity.

Come and enjoy this wonderful dramatization of Little Women. Advance tickets are available at Humphrey Floral and Gifts and are $5 for students and $10 for adults. Tickets at the door are $7 for students and $12 for adults.
