Judge gauges support for high court run (Watertown Daily Times) JEFFERSON - Although still gauging potential statewide support, Jefferson County Branch IV Circuit Court Judge Randy Koschnick said this morning his nature as a judicial conservative could play well in a campaign he is considering against longtime Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Shirley Abrahamson.

Koschnick may seek seat on high court (Watertown Daily Times) JEFFERSON - After 10 years of service on the county bench, Jefferson County Branch IV Circuit Court Judge Randy Koschnick has announced he is considering seeking election to the position of Wisconsin Supreme Court justice. He said he hopes to run against longtime Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson.

Tyranena Ride another success (Watertown Daily Times) LAKE MILLS - Over the course of six years, approximately 8,000 bikes have taken to the roads of Jefferson County as part of Tyranena Brewery's Oktoberfest Bike Ride. The ride, which has raised thousands of dollars for the Tomorrow's Hope charity, is scheduled for a Saturday in early October each year and took place this past weekend.

Wisconsin to share in $62M Zyprexa settlement (BizJournals) The state of Wisconsin will share in a $62 million settlement from drug maker Eli Lilly and Co. from allegations that the company marketed the antipsychotic Zyprexa for unapproved uses in violation of state consumer protection laws.
