Duggan parade route set for Sunday (The Salem News) DANVERS and mdash; The route is set for Sunday's parade honoring Olympic women's hockey silver medalist and hometown hero Meghan Duggan. The parade will kick off from Plains Park and the Holten Richmond Middle School, not the high school, as had been originally planned, said Recreation Department Program Director Cheryl Marshall, who is organizing the event.

Former Marine Named Waterloo Police Chief (KCRG-TV9 Cedar Rapids) WATERLOO (AP) - Waterloo has named a 46-year-old former Marine from Wisconsin as the city's new police chief. Daniel Trelka currently is police chief in Sturgeon Bay, Wis. He was appointed to the position by Waterloo Mayor Buck Clark over four other finalists.
